Manhattan Beach Becomes Smoke Free City

MBBreatheFreeW-codeIn June, the Manhattan Beach City Council approved a smoke-free ordinance that expanded the existing ban to include e-cigarettes and all streets, sidewalks and outdoor dining areas. Smoking is permitted only in designated hotel and motel rooms, and private residential properties. This ban shows the power of city-wide smoking regulations, and will certainly increase the health and well-being of its residents. Manhattan Beach, a designated Blue Zones Project city, is a great model for all things healthy. Learn more about its smoking ban here.
